The Eden Area Scholarship Program was created by the Eden Area Foundation in July 2020, with an initial grant of $20,000, to be administered by Eden United Church of Christ with the assistance of the Grants Committee of the Foundation. In 2020, with the assistance of many generous local donors, the Program was able to grant 15 scholarships of $2,000 each ($30,000 total) to students who reside in the Eden Area.
In 2021-22, the Program will continue to accept donations to supplement the Foundation’s 2022 grant in hopes of granting 20 or more scholarships in Spring 2022. Each scholarship will be in an amount up to $2,000 and may be used for tuition, books and supplies, a personal laptop, and/or room and board.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants will live in the Eden Area, be enrolled in or entering an accredited college or university, and complete an Eden Area Scholarship application. Priority will be given to students who are either an active member of Eden United Church of Christ and/or alumni/ae of the Cherryland Youth Leadership Institute.

May 9 – Deadline for Submitting Applications
May 23 – Scholarship Recipients are Notified and Invited to Bravo! Sunday Award & Recognition
Jun 5 – Bravo! Sunday Award & Recognition of Scholarship Recipients
